Liberty English Garden
The English Garden is a collection of floral designs created specifically for quitling. Some of the printed designs are redrawn artworks from Liberty's archive, their roots dating back to the early 1900s. The artists in Liberty's London design sutdio use pen and ink, watercolour and gouache to create the modern co-ordinates giving the collection a fresh accent.
The colour palette reflects the shades and tones of a classic English Rose garden, with pastel tones of delicate buds and the chalky sun bleached hues of a wildflower border.
The base quality Lasenby Cotton is 100% cotton quality specifically woven for sewers.
All liberty fabrics are printed using traditional screen printing technique, which ensures deep penetration of ink dyes and flat, solid areas of colour that match and co-ordinate across the collection.
