Georgette

Georgette is the perfect fabric for light and airy fashion, such as tunics, dresses or blouses. Due to its semi-sheer look, you sometimes have to use a lining fabric or even sew a slip to wear underneath. Georgette is heavier than chiffon, and has an almost crepe-like hand. It can be made from silk, rayon, viscose, cotton or wool.
