Amarilys Henderson for Moda Playgrounds
Having worked commercially as a watercolour artist, painting and play have always been intertwined - until they become less so. Amarilys states that she had painted so many subjects that she needed an outlet. And so, while client projects dried, she wandered onto scrap papers and boards to unwind. What she now calls "watercolour playgrounds" quickly became a regular creative practice. Creating forms with loose watercolour bleeds, painting organix shapes and playing with movement lit her heart and looks stunning in this new range for Moda.
